News and Notes for the Last Week of 4th Grade

Thank you for sharing your students with us for their 4th grade year.  We have all learned so much from each other over the year.  We pray the students continue to grow spiritually and find ways to share God's amazing love with others.  We know they are well prepared for 5th grade! Good luck next year!

Notes for the last few weeks of school

ALL work is DUE by Monday, May 21st.  Late work will not be accepted after that date. 

Please send in $1 for Ted Drewes Ice Cream that we will eat in the afternoon of field day.  Please give to your child's homeroom teacher by Friday, May 18th.

ALL 4th Quarter Service Project Forms are DUE by Friday, May 25th at 11 a.m.
Please let your child's teacher know if you need help finding a service project to complete by the end of the school year.

4th Grade families please join us for an end of the year author celebration with the 4th graders.  The students have proudly selected a piece of writing they would like to share on the final day of school.  After the readings, you may purchase their autographed copies for a free will donation for our class sponsored students at CCLS-Uganda.
Friday, May 25th right after chapel-11 am.

News and Notes from 4th Grade: May 14th-18th

Graded papers and school notes were sent home on Friday. Please take a few moments to look over your child's graded papers with them to see how they are doing on their school work.

Please send in $1 for Ted Drewes Ice Cream that we will eat in the afternoon of field day.  Please give to your child's homeroom teacher.

Field Day, Friday, May 18th: Please have your child dress in their team's color clothing.  They should also bring a change of clothes, socks, and shoes for the afternoon in case they are too wet from the morning's activities to be comfortable for the rest of the day.

News and Notes from 4th Grade - May 7th-11th

Monday, May 7th: 4th Grade will be visiting the middle school campus for lunch/recess and class time.  We will return at the end of the day on the bus around 3:30 pm.  You may pick your child up where the bus drops off, at the front entrance.
If your student needs to stay at the middle school campus please email your child's teacher to let them know or else everyone comes back to the elementary building.

Lunch choices at the middle school have a little more variety.
They may choose to order:
Chicken Drumstick with Roll
Grilled Ham and Cheese
Cheeseburger
Chicken Tenders
Deli Wrap
Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza
Salad

Library Reminders

Parents -- Just a reminder this is our last week to check out books at the library.  All books must be returned next week or your TADS account will be charged for a lost book.

Magazine - $3.00
