This is trip is all about Missouri History.  We will be outdoors learning about the history of Missouri.

We will be outdoors the whole day.  Please dress your child according to the weather.  They may wear jeans or other school uniform bottoms, CCLS polo and tennis shoes that can get muddy or dirty since we will be outside.
Your students will need to pack a lunch or order a sack lunch for the field trip.  Please make sure they have water as well since we will be outside.

You may choose to ride the bus, follow the bus, or meet us there.  They will have specific parking spaces for us; parking is limited so if you can carpool that would be much appreciated.
Email Mrs. Endorf - KEndorf@ccls-stlouis.org if you are able to join us for the trip.  We will be divided into small groups for the activities - we at least 8 adults but would gladly take more help.

Story of David and his son Absalom
King David is treated unfairly by his son Absalom.  Absalom had no respect for his father, a person in authority.  Absalom's plan was to become king and overtake the throne from his father.  Even though King David was treated poorly he honored God and fled with his people to Jerusalem.

Virtue Word of the Week: RESPECT
How can we respect God and others even when we are treated unfairly?

Memory Work: 1 Peter 2:20b-21
"But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. 21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps."

Math: Lessons 16-19
